You'll have a fully functional, production-ready directory with ~2,700 practices that you can operate indefinitely. All code is yours. You can hire another developer to add features, or we can discuss a maintenance/support agreement. There's no obligation to proceed to Phase 2.
No, hosting costs are separate and paid by you from day 1. We'll help you set up hosting on Vercel + Railway and configure everything properly, but you'll pay for hosting directly (~$40-80/month for Vercel + Railway + services). This keeps ongoing costs in your control and ensures you own the infrastructure.
For Phase 1, we require 50% upfront ($2,500) to begin work. The remaining $2,500 can be split into 2 payments (midpoint + final). For future phases, we can discuss monthly payments if you prefer spreading the cost.
If we cause delays (slow development, technical issues), you don't pay extra. If you cause delays (slow feedback, scope changes), we may adjust the timeline but won't charge for the extra time unless it requires additional development work.
We work collaboratively with regular reviews, so you'll see progress weekly. If there's a fundamental issue with quality or deliverables, we'll discuss remedies (revisions, partial refund, etc.). We've never had a client request a refund because we communicate proactively.
